    Nils Nilsen Enge (17. januar 1816'968. desember 1886) var ein lærar, gardbrukar, lensmann og stortingsmann frå Birkenes i Aust-Agder.

    Enge var lærar i heimbygda i ni år, og frå 1840 lærar og kyrkjesongar i Eide. Frå 1848 var han gardbrukar på Enge i Eide. Han var lensmann i Eide frå 1849 og frå 1861 til 1883 i Sande i Vestfold. Frå 1883 budde han i Drammen der han var oppteken av bankverksemd. Under tida i Eide var han medlem av heradsstyret og forlikskommissær.

    Enge var stortingsrepresentant for Nedenes og Robygdelagets amt 1848-60 og for Jarlsberg og Larviks amt 1862-73 og 1877-82. Han var medlem, sekretær og formann i ei rekke komitear. Mellom anna var han sekretær i 1848 for adressekomiteen, i 1851 for trykkekomiteen, i 1854, 1857 og 1859-60 for justiskomite nr 2. Heile tida frå 1857 til 1869 var han sekretær for Stortinget, men på omframstortinget 1864 møtte han i berre to dagar. Han var også sekretær for komiteen om fordelinga av representantar i 1857, for fullmaktskomiteen 1859-60, 1862-63, 1865-71, for valkomiteen 1862-63, 1865-71, og for jarnbanekomiteen 1871-73. Perioden 1880-82 og på omframstortinget 1882 var han president i Lagtinget, 1880-82 formann i vegkomiteen.

    Enge var elles medlem av fleire statsoppnemnde kommisjonar. I 1858 av den kongelege kommisjon om skysslova, 1860 om jurylova, 1869 av skattelova, 1879 om leiglendingsskipnaden, og 1884 om Noregs Bank 1884. År 1859 var han med i departementskomiteen om tilhøvet mellom grunnlova og jurylova. Også medlem av den parlamentariske skattekommisjonen av 1877.

    Enge døydde i Drammen i 1886.
